Sarah Carabell is an Air Force spouse and wife to an energetic son (and dog!) She is also my friend and decluttering coaching client! She struggled with postpartum depression and anxiety for two years despite having a degree in nutrition and a background in personal training. Frustrated with the side effects of medication, she sought a more natural solution. Thankfully, three years ago she found it and now helps mom overcome overwhelm and anxiety without medication.
Today we talk about her postpartum journey, the advice she has for moms going through a similar struggle, and how simple steps have helped her keep her anxiety at bay.

Cycle syncing can be described as adapting your lifestyle to your the different phases of your menstrual cycle. Changing levels of hormones including estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone have a direct effect on our mood and energy. So if we are aware of what to expect in each of the four phases of the menstrual cycle - (menstrual, follicular, ovulatory, and luteal), we can better plan our diet, exercise, calendar, and yes, even decluttering (as well as shopping) around the shifts in our hormones.
